Ok. So how do you convince people to be servers? Cashiers? Things of this nature without incentives?
Until a forced minimum wage increase is done it’s either deal with the necessary evil or shut the world down.
I'll be a server. And a cashier. I've done both. I'm very good at being a cashier. My damned feet get confused and I make a rather poor server. Better cook.
You don't need a forced minimum wage. You need to stop incentivizing companies to outsource our production to nations that utilize slave labor by refusing to impose tariffs on those companies' products when they import them into the US and still charge the same prices they did when it was US workers producing them.
Why do you think the America First candidate won, after the absolute bullshit of the last 4 years, where housing costs, food costs, and transportation costs went 2-3x? Suddenly EVERYONE 50+ realized they either shouldn't have retired or their retirement now won't pay the basic bills.
Printing more money isn't the solution, it just increased the expansion of US companies in foreign nations. More taxes just made those who were not previously poor poor. Lowering or removing the few tariffs we had just made federal incomes not increase anywhere near the rate of inflation.
Don't talk to me about the poors. It's the "Think about the poors" and "Think about the children" that has led us to this path where the US is no longer the nation that can produce enough of literally everything to stock the entire world, we're just too much of assholes to do it. Instead, we no longer have the capacity to produce our own needs. But yeah, people definitely need "credits" so that they contribute LESS than nothing, and are instead wards of the state. GREAT plan!
