Long as you file electronically and provide an account to wire returns, it's always fast. Typically my filings are auto-approved and I receive the wire to my account within 3 days of filing.

Doesn't even matter if it's complicated or not. If you do your taxes correctly, and aren't demanding paper checks, it shouldn't take any time at all.

At least for federal. State can be a pain in the ass, especially in Illinois and California.

Interesting. I have a very simple tax return and have never gotten my refund in less than 20 days. Perhaps something to do with a child tax credit?

(Married to)

Regardless she is the Area Manager for a bank. I think she’d know a little.

But let’s say this. If you don’t believe what I’m saying. What is your explanation for the documented increase of wait times to receive Social Security, Retirement and benefits related to such?

Do you believe it takes them longer today to process the info than it did 10-20-30-40 years ago because our technology is slower? What’s YOUR personal opinion?

Retirement benefits take longer today to receive.

Social Security takes longer today to receive.

Workman’s comp takes longer to receive.

Tax Returns take longer to receive(some people still don’t have last years).

What do YOU believe is causing these things in the US?

Clearly dei hire.

I don't receive tax "credits". No handouts of any form. So perhaps that may have something to do with it. I dunno, you'd have to ask somebody who does taxes professionally (CPA) or those who qualify for and take advantage of such opportunities.

Tax credits aren't something I like, tbh. Write-offs I understand. But when you credit someone, that's when they go into net zero taxpayer or even tax burden. Typically credits can't exceed what you pay in FICA and SSI, but some folks end up with credits enough that they get back more than the grand total they put in. Not great, and frankly, if you're one of those, it SHOULD take longer.

If you were a poor you’d be grateful for them. Not everyone makes good money and honestly without those low income people the US economy wouldn’t exist.

I've been homeless when tax returns come in. A refund on government overcharges can be lifechanging. On the flipside, relying on stealing the tax dollars of your neighbor makes you a leech.

Leeches are useless and are best thrown in the campfire. Whatever it is that you think you believe, right now you're promoting theft and redistribution of wealth via theft.

Ok. So how do you convince people to be servers? Cashiers? Things of this nature without incentives?

Until a forced minimum wage increase is done it’s either deal with the necessary evil or shut the world down.

I'll be a server. And a cashier. I've done both. I'm very good at being a cashier. My damned feet get confused and I make a rather poor server. Better cook.

You don't need a forced minimum wage. You need to stop incentivizing companies to outsource our production to nations that utilize slave labor by refusing to impose tariffs on those companies' products when they import them into the US and still charge the same prices they did when it was US workers producing them.

Why do you think the America First candidate won, after the absolute bullshit of the last 4 years, where housing costs, food costs, and transportation costs went 2-3x? Suddenly EVERYONE 50+ realized they either shouldn't have retired or their retirement now won't pay the basic bills.

Printing more money isn't the solution, it just increased the expansion of US companies in foreign nations. More taxes just made those who were not previously poor poor. Lowering or removing the few tariffs we had just made federal incomes not increase anywhere near the rate of inflation.

Don't talk to me about the poors. It's the "Think about the poors" and "Think about the children" that has led us to this path where the US is no longer the nation that can produce enough of literally everything to stock the entire world, we're just too much of assholes to do it. Instead, we no longer have the capacity to produce our own needs. But yeah, people definitely need "credits" so that they contribute LESS than nothing, and are instead wards of the state. GREAT plan!

Are they outsourcing cashiers and waiters now? This outsourcing situation has indeed gotten terrible in that case.
