I'm still confused about the Canadian tariffs. What concessions did he gain by pausing then? Nothing changed. They still have the same plan as last year.

Look at the triggered people trying to turn a positive into a negative. Few hours ago they said this wouldn’t work now they are grasping at straws saying “I thought his goal was this”. Lame.

It's called making a deal. This is what trump does his whole life.

If you want a raise at work to $100k, you don't start by asking for $100k. You ask for $110k so you end up at $100k.

Trump starts out with almost absurd demands but by the time the deal is closed its probably close to what he originally wanted.
