It's obvious the helicopter crew was tracking the wrong CRJ. The ATC simply assumed that they were tracking the right one.

This was ultimately a failure of systems. The helicopter crew fucked up but they shouldn't have been able to mess up so bad without a systemic correction.

This simply isn't true and we know this isn't true because the number 1 beneficiary of DEI are white people. White women, but yes, still white. There are a lot of misunderstandings on how DEI functions. But you can also take a look at the majority of people in high paying or authoritative positions and see that white people are still extremely over-represented even with DEI having played a role for as long as it has now.
