This post is a violation of the site rules and appropriate action was taken.

Just because he was crooked doesn't mean you don't deserve the warn you have. You've done quite a bit of flaming in the past.

you ever study logical fallacies?

i am a person that entered the workforce out of high school.
over a decade ago i got it into my head that i would find the "truth of it all"
one thing i discovered was the subject matter "logical fallacies"
it was a completely new topic i had never heard of before.
to me it was further proof the education system isnt really that serious about 'education.
anyway i have been thinking about this topic so i decided i would open a topic on it.
when i was doing my thing on youtube "logical fallacies" are part n parcel to the debate interactions.

It's everywhere. The biggest problem is that most people are too busy trying to prove they are correct, rather than being open-minded and trying to listen to others instead. I try to constantly have a 50/50 philosophical approach to everything in life. 50% is experiences, opinions and what i consider to be the facts, and 50% i stay open to listen to others, to add to my experiences and keep shaping my opinions. It's a never ending process. Because even if you are 100% certain of something, someone else -may- have a slightly better version of the truth, so it's always useful to try to stay open and listen. But one should also be rock solid in one's own opinions, those first 50% one should work very hard at not sacrificing easy.

The biggest problem, again, are people that stay at 90/10 or even more, closer to 100/0, i.e. never listening to others and only thinking they are correct in everything they do. Never questioning their own judgment or anything they know. That's the biggest problem in the entire world. They are like the faulty cog wheels that don't want to adhere to others or work with others at all. Thus the entire system grinds to a halt.

The reason it is important to stay at least halfway open minded, is that, even if you know what the truth is, nobody is going to listen or take it in if they don't feel like you are listening to them. Nobody can receive anything in a closed fist, or a closed mind. So if you can get someone to open their mind, they can maybe receive some of the wisdom you have. Maybe, though, lol, that's the keyword. Because you will never know if anyone listens to your or not. But that is not for oneself to worry about. As a true soldier, warrior and general of life, one should only be concerned with fighting the good cause. Then maybe on your journey through life, you will have changed a few destinies for the better. Someone may have seen your wise way of reasoning, and become a true warrior themselves, as in before, they may have been too close minded, too rigid, and not taken a more holistic view in life - leaning on logical fallacies, instead of opening up and listening to their inner wisdom, and thus learning to decipher when others have wisdom.

Wisdom and intelligence - those are the anti-poison to logical fallacies. We should learn about this in school, like so many other important issues.
