5-10k players was being overgenerous imo

Even when LoD was at its highest would be a very small amount that even pvp'd or could afford it either.

One look at the tournament section, and it's clear that there are ~20 players willing to play against the top bot-gear players. There's not a waiting list or anything. They basically pay you to "duel" them (duel is in quotes because it's not fair in any sense).

There are more areas/sites that offer duel tournaments though no? Gotta be a discord etc
