difference is that there is nothing Jesus said that brings on those acts, and you are right crusades and other similar things as witch hunts have happened with Christianity.

they are referring to Mary as in the Lord's mother

Mary is the only woman to be mentioned in the entire quran by name and it is not Mary Magdalene.

Maybe I was confused with the Hadith then.

Either way you'll have to forgive me for my lack of knowledge of Islam. It's only basic. When it comes to religion outside of Christianity, Judaism is the one I know more of and even then I'll make mistakes.

did you notice when i said Christians dont carry out war in the name of god? and i was told "sure they do, look at the crusades". which is a mixed bag of lies based on Papal propaganda told to peasants to get them to march and moot because 1000 year old history isnt exactly a relevant example. also was told "Christian nations" attack people. as if that's relevant too.

the drive to demonize Christianity is always fascinating to me when its done in defense of the FAR more violent Islam.
