It’s religion. Catholics are just as bad, maybe worse.

Putting words in a title does not make it so. The actions speak louder than words.

You will never find me defending the Catholic church. Ever. Any church that protects predators over protecting the most vulnerable people in our society has no grace.

Then no church, religion or sect has any grace. They all have corruption.

Zero corruption in my church, because it's completely independent and was only founded about 60 years ago. The Founding Elders are mostly still alive.

Protestantism doesn't have a church. We believe in the invisible universal church.

Impossible. Sorry. Humans by nature are sinful. Sin will inevitably lead to corruption the only adjustment is “how corrupt”? Can range from criminal to simply liking one parishioner more than another but in some way there will be corruption in your church leadership.

Belief has power, this is why churches gather their flock in a single location.

Then the leader guides their belief.
