I really wanted to play hardcore. After 100 hours in the game, it is pretty obvious that this will be impossible with the current state of the game. I crash to the desktop every 4 loading screens. When i join a map there is always a huge lag spike right at the beginning, which has caused me to die several times.

RIP POE 2.

Hopefully they will fix these problems soon but it seems GGG has not been in a hurry lately on any updates in the past several years.

The prime example is Affliction League in POE 1. This was by FAR my favorite league POE 1 has had to offer. Amazing content, huge loot explosions. Investing in the best map possible(My maps would cost 2 Div each) felt actually rewarding.

So i am having a BLAST with league and it is nearing the end. I was extremely sad that the league was ending but i knew i had a little over a month left to play it.

GGG then released an update a little over a month before the league ended and BRICKED the game. You couldnt do ONE Map without crashing.

GGG allowed this to go on the rest of the league, my favorite league got ruined and never got fixed at the end. It upset me so much i did quit POE for a while.

Yet here we are in a poe2 section of an online forum giving quite a story of why you don't like the current state of path of exile instead of simply dropping it altogether and just forgetting about Poe

But I guess some people will keep complaining while still be playing the games they complain about

This is not me trying to be an asshole, just pointing it out for you how you can simply just be at peace knowing you aren't wasting time on something you do not have fun in anymore, just let go bruh

Are your drivers all up to date?

Have you tried a fresh windows install?

Not him but I have crashed a total 5 times in my 350+ hours playing exclusively on the steamdeck so I feel like it's a him problem right now lol

Yeah, if my potato deck can handle not crashing as frequently as he does, he probably on a tomato deck!

yes i have 4070 TI Super, a pretty solid pc all together. All driver updates are installed. I have not tried a fresh install of Windows and i wont be doing that considering every other game on my pc works flawlessly
