This is probably the worst chiefs team in the last 3 seasons. At least offensively. I’m not saying they won’t win, but the eagles team is much improved from their matchup a couple years ago. You’d be a fool if you didn’t think the game could go either way.


Hell, if it wasn’t for a PI call 2 years ago, it easily could have gone the other way lol

Are we the worst Chiefs Offense in the last 3 years though?
Still have Kelce, Grey, Pacheco, still have Thuney, Smith, Taylor, and Humphrey on the line. Still have Hardman, Ross, Moore, and Watson. And of course, we still have Mahomes.
All we "lost" this year on offense was Rice to Injury, and we gained Xavier Worthy in the draft, as well as Hollywood Brown in FA and DHop in trade lmao. Also brought back in Kareem Hunt. And Juju was here for 2022 and 2024.
That sounds like a net total upgrade on offense, not a downgrade.


The Defense for sure is better than last year and year before, despite losing Sneed.

Eagles pass offence is significantly worse tho. Unless Barkley saves their franchise for 1 more game, unno.

I think this Chiefs defense is elite, and I fully expect them to 3peat, but I wouldn't be shocked to see Saquon go for 150+ and a pair of tuddys.

James cook is a fantastic rb and but they also did an amazing job on JA. Chiefs def is excellent at isolating players. I assume they'll make hurtz try to beat them

Yeah I'd expect them to sellout to stop the run and force Hurts to beat them over the top. Barkley is a gamechanger tho, get him past the first level and anything can happen. Should be a hell of a matchup. Interested to see what Spags cooks up.

Every single time you hear about the Chiefs beating someone in the playoffs, what's the common denominator from both sides after the game?

"I can't believe that XYZ Team abandoned the run against the Chiefs".

I'm shocked the Bills abandoned Cooks. Shocked the 9ers abandoned McCaffery, shocked the Titans abandoned Henry, etc.
Like clockwork though, Spags pulls up an elite plan to stop 1st down runs to put you in 2nd/3rd and 6+.

This is 100% the gameplan. Stop the run on 1st down and force the Eagles to trust Hurts to beat the Chiefs. Jaylen Watson was on a snap count last week, but we'll have him back to full strength by the super bowl and have our secondary fully health for the first time in a while.
Probably going to start the game off giving a lot of zone looks and keeping the best tackling corner in the NFL (McDuffie) on whatever side the Eagles run to most often, just in case Saquon slips free.
