What kind of destruction does he think they'll achieve 15 months into this war which they hadn't been able to get done until now?

Imho, Isreal did a great job cleaning up and accomplished a ton, but now it's time to take the W and go home.

We were fighting with our hands tied and weapons embargo from woke countries who think they know what we are dealing with here.
Once the hostages are back home hopefully we will explode on them

How much more do ally countries need to reciprocate to Israel? Our first born children next? When does the fire hose of aid end and Israel sovereignty begin?

The reality is, there is never an absolute guarantee Israel will get anything. Hope Israel has a strategic plan for this.

The old saying 'beggars can't be choosers'. Next four should be good for y'all though

Buying influence.
Shouldn’t be a surprise for any American.. your entire history filled with foreign interventions. Not to mention how the domestic system came to be.
So why be mad ? It made your country great and it’ll continue to do so.

I see and support all what you wrote
As an Israeli , it’s frustrating to not be able to solve this, to live in peace.
Even Assad fell and that’s after butchering hundred of thousands which makes the Gaza situation look like a walk in the park.
That’s makes me realise that Israel’s only option is to always be the strongest force in the region via alliances with US mainly and Europe. To be smart at politics and to prove the world what every Israeli already knows- the Palestinians intentions and which side is actively preventing peace over and over again.
I believe that this combination will finally bring the Palestinians to acknowledge the Jewish state and to drop their “all or nothing” claims.
It’s time to wrap up the war, release all hostages via similar deals and to begin playing chicken with the Palestinians via politics.
That being said I strongly support the IDF intervention in Gaza for any potential threat to the Israeli people.

I think your last sentence is key: since pulling the troops from Gaza in 2005, Israel had gotten complacent and allowed the Hamas structures inside Gaza to grow and fester too much.
You guys are typically very good at learning from mistakes, though.

Another mistake is how much the propaganda support for the Palestinian cause among their Western allies caught Israel off-guard. The ease with which the Palestinian propaganda was able to frame a campaign against the masterminds of a medieval butchering as a genocidal war of aggression by Israel was really breathtaking.

It’s a campaign the Palestinians are running for years.
I have to give it to them, they spotted the west soft spot for colonialism and are pushing their narrative without changing it one bit. For years.
It’s not that we were off-guard. We weren’t even in the game. All that because Israel politicians. They disgust me really. I can’t think of one politician that represent me in the current government and I find it difficult to find anyone in the opposition as well.
I wish that after this national trauma something better will pop-up. But I afraid we’ll get more of the same.

Hands tied by whom? Israel is a sovereign state is it not? That means the ability to say no to allied states, otherwise you're a client state.

Mad?

Id like to see a future where Israel is more independent and the USD spent on domestic issues. There is no 'mad', it's simply not a sustainable arrangement indefinitely.
