how have none of you become game devs and created a game that takes gm diablo 2 pvp and puts it in a standalone game

Too busy with other things.

pvp scene just isn't big, prob easily <5-10k players

Makes me sad to see this. Some of the best Diablo memories I have is 1.09-1.11. Loved PvP aspect of this game.

I have been here for 25 years lol and no way do i feel bad about any of my time being used for this. I have met people from all around the world and done a ton of coding projects because this game.

That's what I'm saying bro. The PVP in this game is what held it together for so long because it gave the PVE people someone to trade to. It's a small community, but I feel like it would grow if it was a stand-alone game. People don't understand the complexity of how d2 PVP works like I don't know. I played so many games and none of them have as much control as I feel I do of my character in D2 lod. Weapon switch glitch was amazing and it should be an actual mechanic in the pvp game idk man I might make it fuck it. I have no idea what I'm doing but I have ai now

Big Blizz can't stop the bots. What makes you think you could do it? Literally every big game has bots without exception.

Also, a real ID model wouldn't be profitable, so how are you going to make money?

Are there bots in d3/d4? I never got around to playing those.
