Yes, he trusted Goering as a loyal friend & OG supporter. It was a bad judgment, made with clarity of mind. Goering betrayed his trust & famously had his mind fixated on opulence & grandeur as opposed to stern duty.

I agree with you about nazis being in peak physical condition in ww2. Theres a reason why they almost conquered the world; if it wasn't for the Americans, they would have. The average german soldier was in great shape.

They rolled over their enemies with ease because of being so lean, fit & efficient. They were healthy enough to maintain going for 72 hours nonstop with assistance from meth. Yes, Hitler made many much more disastrous decisions than he did, including invading Russia and declaring war on America(who had only declared war on Japan). Hitler made the war double unwinnable for his people out of pure ignorance.

The scope of these disasters is not comparable, look at the death tolls of the peoples involved in both cases...

The blunders between Adolf and Simon aren't even close. The former led to his nation becoming a rump state that remained thriving & maintained its position as the economic heart of Europe, while the latter had all their people either slaughtered or enslaved, to the point where they still cry about it 2000 years later and infest peaceful Christian nations out of nothing but malevolent spite. It's not even remotely comparable.
