Win or lose tonight it's nice to see the Houston Rockets greatly competing and even outworking, at times, the defending NBA champions on the road. 54-52 halftime lead at Boston. Coming off beating the red hot Cavaliers two times in a row. Very impressive stretch by the Rockets. Jabari Smith Jr. is still out another month with that hand recovery and the trade deadline is nearing.

What a position the Rockets are in. They're already a top 5 team in the NBA. 2nd seed in the loaded West. They're good enough to play with anybody. Still very young with an arsenal of trade assets to acquire any star player. They have three young stars in Alperen Sengun, Jalen Green and Amen Thompson all blossoming right before our eyes. Winning the 2027 NBA Finals is very realistic for the Houston Rockets. Their first NBA Title since 1995. They may even make some loud noise in the 2025 and 2026 playoffs.

I could see the Houston Rockets playing in the 2025 Western Conference Finals this year! But I don't want to get too far ahead of myself. A lot of work yet.

Unbelievable. Amen Thompson! The Rockets just beat the Celtics at Boston after beating the Cavaliers two games in a row.

The Rockets play the Hawks tonight. A back-to-back on the road.
But the way they're rolling I expect another win. The roster is just so deep.
Teams can't just focus on stopping Alperen Sengun and Jalen Green anymore.
Ime Udoka is becoming my favorite NBA head coach since Rudy Tomjanovich!
