You seem to know a lot about salaries in Poland and Russia. Why not Western Ukraine? People from these areas seem to be especially active on the internet posting memes about Russia. How much does one get paid there?

What do you think should happen to Western Ukraine once this war is over? Should they be absorbed by Poland or become a landlocked rump state?

I think Russia should just annex it and be done with it, heard that it would take Russia 3 days to defeat Ukraine, 14 days to be in Berlin etc

I don’t think that’s an option. Russians never wanted it.

Realistically Western Ukranians have two options:

1) create a state of their own like they always wanted. It is unclear whether they will retain access to the sea (as Odessa might not go along with Banderites) and what will be the economic driver of this new country as there is not much industry there. The only realistic exports they have is cheap labour, internet cope and vyshivankas.

2) be annexed by Poland again like it was for majority its existence. It appears Stalin made a mistake when he carved it out from Poland as a post-World War 2 concession. Perhaps he should have left it within Poland all along.

“3 days to defeat Ukraine” was a quote by General Milley who was just pardoned by Biden. I’ve no clue why it became attributed to Russians.

All major Russian propaganda outlets sang the song about 3 days and so did Belarus dictator who attributed it to his pre-war conversation with Russian dictator.

Maybe Austria should annex the western Ukraine, all it takes is one failed art student to decimate 30 million Russians with a 3.5 million army afterall

*Soviets and mostly civilians. Plenty of Western Ukranians died as well as you very well know. Many were killed by Bandera and his cronies.

Pretty deaf-tone take considering Germans would have exterminated your grandparents to make space for lebensraum if not for Soviet effort.
