But that's entirely dependant on the exchange. Things cost significantly less in the states and always have but right now our Canadian dollar is horrible. It's like 65 cents to the dollar.
Same with the euro. 15 years Argo you were getting 1.35 to 1.4 USD per euro but now it's like 1.04. You're gonna get wrecked on the exchange rate.
That Exchange rate seems dependent on whether or not Trumps pressure on other first world countries is to get them on board with enacting the same tariffs against 'Developing Nations' with vast trade surpluses.
Tariffs in the current economic order might be a complete wash otherwise, where all that is really accomplished is shuffling the deck with trade between Europe, Canada, ect.. but China still comes out on top from doing absolutely nothing.
