u gotta realize there are thousands of gold transactions a day. refusing to buy gold and making people spend their gold for you is way more sus than just buying gold for yourself with fg.

you aint gonna get busted for doing a face to face trade bud.

Not sure I follow your logic but I appreciate the perspective.

the logic is your paranoia of getting banned or something is a lot less likely than you retracting on buying an item after my gold is already spent

Edit: Added clarification for potential traders - we will confirm the ratio and items via PM so you have a clear communication trail. I send first in the majority of cases based on 2/3 rule.I’ve done this type of trade 10+ times without issue. For this particular case I’m looking for Essence of Water.

I’m paying slightly above ratio for the added effort that a trader would make going to grab the items off AH and trading to me for a green in window. I don’t mind waiting to find the right seller who is risk averse like I am. I can also wait, since my FG will continue to increase in relative value as in game gold inflates.
