He does care. He cares that his political views are not damaged by the event. At this point, it's other people and other people's homes and businesses that are burning. He's not personally impacted, therefore his politics hold up.

their agenda is clear - out with the old and in with the fully upgraded smart cities for the soon to be LIFI grid in maui, cali, etc

I can tell you that I personally fought this arch demon responsible for spiritually hijacking military dews and personnel to implement this fissure of chaos.
it has the power to remove most souls from their bodies. not much you can do if the tech is in place as is.

and they dont even burn the decrepit trees and brush just the ones that are the biggest oxygenators(healthy).

Because you deny all mismanagement, in order to protect your political tribe. The LA fire chief said herself that her department was horribly underfunded and straight up said the Mayor is to blame. That's not even including the disastrous water mismanagement and lack of leadership & quick action at the outset.

I'm aware of this and agree that there was a huge fire risk because of the reasons you stated. So why didn't they prepare for a fire, knowing that one could spring up at any moment?

they didnt prepare well enough, which you could fairly say was a mismanagement issue mostly on the mayor's end (not enough $$$ - she cut 17MM from LAFD last year)

we deal with this shit every year - its not new for anyone in California

The water management is and was the largest issue. But it doesn't matter. What's to be done? Recall on the Mayors, Fire Chiefs, Governor? It'll go the same way it did last time. The governor and his staff controls the election. As does the mayor. Nothing will change. Commiefornia will burn, and a fuckton of people will lose their homes and their lives.

San Diego seems to be the new and improved disaster zone. But it's all about "climate change". :rolleyes:

That's fair then, not preparing does count as mismanagement in my eyes. Hopefully going forward it should be much better since it usually takes a disaster of significant magnitude to actually wake people up. And it was only the extremely wealthy who's houses burned down which we both know greases the wheels, government doesn't care if poor people lose their homes

I forgot about that lol that's another horribly consequential blunder. Giving all your firefighting planes away :bonk: we in Canada had to send our fleet over when California is supposedly richer than our entire country
