I’ve had good luck paying a little bit more than ratio to get the items I need straight up for FG. People on here are usually OK with getting a little more for the added step of picking up an epic on the AH for example. Then I trade a bunch of greens or something for it. Never caught a ban before using this method but it’ll make the g2g gold drop sellers mald.

How many times have you done this? I want to buy some era gold, but I don’t want to chance it that bad.

Hey I’ve bought items and gold probably 7 or 8 times in the last year.

Fingers crossed, haven’t caught a ban yet.

However I avoid the guys with high volumes of gold on multiple servers, and I avoid people with a high recent number of posts/threads suggesting they’re trading a lot of gold. My logic is that they’re more likely to be flagged by Blizz or be a gold reseller.

if you pay FG for a in-game item bought off the AH, the only possible way to get banned is if the seller is botting or had scammed/stolen gold
