It wouldn't be a state, the serious discussion right now is Canada joining with the USA in some form of union to form a common labour market & economy, which would look something like a Protectorate. The USA would protect Canada both militarily & from influence or exploitation by foreign bad actors (the chief culprit here being the European WEF). In addition, the USA would control our immigration policy in return for us merging with the lucrative American economy & labour market. It really is a no-brainer.

LOL! The majority of products Americans use and buy that originate in Canada aren't made by Canadians. The base resources are sold to China, and purchased from China in end-product form by Americans. Trudeau's threat has no teeth, because Canada just isn't important. Refined natural gas and oil products are used in literally everything Canada needs to operate. They purchase the overwhelming majority of those refined products from the US. Any tariff war with Canadia ends with Canadia broke and non-functional.

I sincerely hope he carries out his threat. That shit will be hilarious. I'd be MUCH more concerned over tariff threats from China. They produce too high of a percentage of the products America needs to function property to be treated as a joke. Canada?

aside from the continent of Africa, we are one of the richest countries on the planet in terms of natural resources. that alone makes us important.

but, if we are so irrelevant, than why make us the 51rst state?

i wonder if californians would agree that Canada sending water bombers to help with the fires was important or not...
