Several things:

1. You are painting "the right" as a monolith. YOU are part of "the right" according to Marxists. Do you feel like you are the same as me?

2. You are claiming "the right" are trying to make excuses for Elon's actions. Am I making excuses for him? Or am I laughing that his meme caused a bunch of Marxists to flock to twitter to try to "own" him by making him richer?

3. You are claiming that the victors against the Nazis can't use, mock, or otherwise do whatever the fuck we want with whatever symbology we choose.

There is still an American Nazi Party. There's still a KKK. There are still plenty of objectionable shitbricks in the US. What do we do with them? We ignore them. Yet a bunch of Marxists disguising themselves as "Democrats" start waving their hands over some imagined, bullshit, slight, and you're falling right in line. Elon did nothing wrong whatsoever. Is he autistic? Probably. Is he a fake gamer? Seems that way. Is he a fucking savage meme lord who's better at baiting Marxists than anyone short of President Donald J. Trump? Of course!

ahh i understand your issue now. when i said "the right" you read it as "he thinks all people on the right are the same". and i dont. if someone or some group of people on the right do a thing i'll call them "the right". i do the same if i see a person on "the left" do something. nothing about this means i think all people on the right or left do that thing or even support it. ive been talking about intersectionality in politics for a long time, its a topic i find quite interesting, so i dont think of either party as a monolith. but i do agree the left wing tends to express things in a far more monolithic way because of how that side of the aisle doles out punishment on disagreement, so they appear far more monolithic. its just ive talked to far too many of them irl to think they truly all agree. they've just made a devils bargain to follow the group think's consensus in an attempt to get more done, and it hasn't worked ironically enough. largely because the party has moved too far left to maintain support from the voting population.

I am disappointed because I was hoping to see financial regulations put in around it and the rise of meme coins , predominately coming from influencers typically who cater to , very very young audiences that then grow into young adults. Again, great example being the Paul brothers.

And it is perfectly in my right to have that disappointment given it was my hope that under Trumps government we were going to see some financial regulatory changes in that area, and gambling in general. Its a very degenerate behaviour that's now being pushed extremely early due to how its invaded video games.

You can see the natural progression here. Kids getting early exposure via video games, influencers pushing it, suddenly its normalized to gamble on shit coins in young adulthood and carry on further destructive and degenerate behaviour further into life.

Its really not comparable to pogs, or trading cards, etc.

It's exactly comparable to pogs, trading cards, etc. When the market fell out from the pogs, people were left with empty bank accounts and a worthless meme coin, exactly the same as when the bottom goes out from meme coins, same as with... NFTs, yes?

You want regulation of such things NOW? After FTX hoodwinked HOW much for the DNC and Biden/Harris campaigns? How about the super highly regulated banks? How many Silicon Valley banks went bankrupt again, and why were they ALL supporting the DNC and Biden/Harris?

Pointing a finger at Trump, a guy who's been producing collectibles for longer than you've been alive, when to date, he's done nothing wrong, is stupid. And blind. You're better than that.

Edit: According to Ebay, my "well-used" Trump the Game board game is worth $60. I bought it for $10. It's even a fun game. Acquire is probably better, but yeah, good fun.

Fair enough.

Again, you can take issues with all those things and once and naturally assume I don't. Were just talking about the most current events on here currently. Are we supposed to go through all of history and say yay or nay to each event that has happened each time a new event happens so you can judge which political party you think the person stands with more.

Jesus dude get a grip. Again, were good man.

This entire cabinet is in fact “one big troll” and the left is so dumb that they won’t believe it until he hires Kaitlyn Jenner to head women’s rights.

RFK? Tammy Bruce? Kid Rock? Village People? Elon Musk? Nelly? Ramaswamy? Rubio?

How tf does anyone with half a brain not acknowledge these associations as a “troll”.

Here's the problem: You're angry that Trump has started his 235235th collectible. Why? He hasn't done anything wrong. It's all legal. Any citizen of the US could make something identical named something different. And it'd be fine. Becoming President, or winning an election, does not remove all the rights and protections afforded to any citizen.

Those who like Trump, as well as those who watch the meme coin market, will invest. Some will pump and dump and get rich. Others will hold it for life, and eventually, just as with Pogs, the fad will fade and they'll be left holding a worthless bag. None of that is Trump's fault. Again, it comes across as nothing more than fake outrage.

You're not reading.

I am fully able to express disappointment because I was hoping for regulatory that would quell these silicon valley ass holes that find some influencer and use them as a gifter to launch some dumbshit coin and rug pull a bunch of financially illiterate youth that have been groomed to become gamblers at this point.

And having him and wife engage in two directly before taking office indicates its highly unlikely and silicon valley will continue to run rampant with nearly unregulated financial instruments.

But again I suspect some will not even be able to pull trumps cock from their ass far enough to say yeah this isn't ideal for an incoming president to do, it sends some poor signals.

The problem with what you're saying is that many meme coins are not only quite legitimate, but nations have adopted them as formal currency. Like Bitcoin.

Any regulations that would harm our ability to conduct international trade by simply removing our ability to operate using the needed currency is bad regulation.

Trump never stated that he was going to clamp down on ecurrencies. Instead, he said he would support them. Your expectations do not align with his policy platform.

As to him potentially making billions off a meme coin? Cool! Many other Americans have done the same, both legitimately and fraudulently. If he commits fraud with his coin? We'll stand shoulder to shoulder. Until he does, however? You're attempting to hold Trump to a different standard, not based on his own prescribed policy platform, but based on YOUR standards. Who the fuck are you? You want to apply your standards to other Americans, run for President. I'm sure you'll do fine. :)

trump meme coin aside im not even sure if they can regulate and stop meme coins. you'd have to somehow classify them as an illegal asset to buy and posses, which in the digital realm is a tall task. and i agree society is conditioned to gamble, so they'll likely move on to the next highly volatile asset even if meme coins were banned. no one learned from beanie babies afterall, funko pops are the same thing but people blindly "invest" in them.

not sure we can cure that ill from mankind, as long as people are poor they'll cling to the hope they can spend just a little and make a lot. whether its sports betting, the lottery, meme coins, or w/e.

this isnt correct, bitcoin isnt a meme coin. u may think bitcoin is a meme, or that all coin are memes. but "memecoin" is a defined thing, or at least loosely defined. hell id even accept that any coin beneath bitcoin and Ethereum are all meme coins, but thats really as loose as is logical.

A guy who objects to leveraging power to making billions just like I object to Nancy and husbands profiteering as well as the vast majority of Congress.

But hey good to know your stance is "cool".

Guess we can leave it there. Because it's cool bro.

90% of it is fueled by reddit type gain porn. Who doesn't want to put 5k into some random obscure 'investment' and watch it 50x in 3 weeks? I'm financially literate and when i think of it, I'm like some anon just became a millionaire by buying fart coin and holding it for a week. So emotions play and you get FOMO, but ultimately it's important to be disciplined and stay away from the trash unless you're prepared to lose it all, the same as going to a casino.
