The belt becomes unbelievably expensive the better it rolls… my budget currently is around what a 65% bonus to rings costs… but I wonder whenever or not that will be waste of money to invest in?

Can anyone give me some insight in when ingenuity becomes worth it?

It's kind of hard to say when the right time is to invest in whatever right now. The economy is at an all time low,- Wether the prices will continue to drop on divs or not is hard to say. Some suggest the economy will recover in 1-1½ months and prices will go up. Some suggest it will continue to drop.

So it's really up to you if you want to invest whatever the belt costs right now or sit and wait and hope the prices drop even more so you can buy a higher roll.

Thank you! Then how about the belt itself. Do you think a 65% ingenuity is even worth using? Or is the roll too low? At what point does ingenuity become bad? I suppose a 36% would be a bad buy, and a rare belt with good rolls would simply be better in comparison ?

Right now the economy is going to tank extremely hard for another several weeks and level out when divs become worth 10-20 fg.

Because this is EA all of the gear you own will never be moved to the actual Standard League released on launch. All of your items will basically become worthless in the grand scheme of things except retain some sentimental value.


The current price dropping is because EA will release another patch within the next 2 months and the prices are going to drop until that time occurs then they will flatline because everyone will sell their gear to play on the new EA league.

So yea you were right in asking if you should even invest and the answer is only invest what you can make back in the same day/weekend of farming.

Don’t invest too heavily, because everything is going to lose value as the market floods with more and more as div prices drop and people become well geared enough to farm uber bosses etc..

65 % is a good percentage. But the belt is only worth buying if you have fantastic rings. If you have mediocre rings then it's really just a waste of divs to buy the belt imo. I wouldn't use a ingenuity under 50%, but that's just me.

I properly can’t make the value back in a weekend … however, I’m moving close to my end game build and I need ingenuity for that, I’m planning on buying some good rings to go with the belt tho. Also I want some upgrades, it’s just a game after all and I want to blast some pinnacle bosses tonight in new shiny gear, so I’ll properly buy a 65-67% ingenuity for 13-16 divs, together with some rings for 2-4 divs a piece.

I have 28 divs to spend on some fun. I got a gamer night where the wife takes the kid so I’m treating myself

Nice, im planning on buying some rings to go with it. I’ll lose some res from taking of my rare belt and I need to get some new gear to balance out res anyway.

My budget is 28 divs. And I’m planning on spending 15ish on the belt the rest on rings and maybe some lvl 20 gems if I have spare.

Yes, 60 is very very strong still. You have to account that it takes up a belt slot that normally doesn’t gave much going for it.

Except cheapest non corrupt is worth same as a 65ish
