No. I can call a troll a troll and be disappointed that this appointed individual who holds a lot of power and hopefully can and will do great things has been acting like a total tool.
It's quite clear what he intentionally did and then you pair that with straight up arguing with gamers and his own fucking ai calling him a likely liar which is great, it creates reason for disappointment.
I think in these current times of total degenerate behaviour you want a class act on stage. Not someone intentionality trolling or baiting.
That's my take anyways.
The guy has been acting over the top even for him as of late. I know he has a bone to pick with media and this is his troll to get them to react but that's not what you want a a voter I wouldn't think.
I don't disagree that he's a troll in general, often makes a fool of himself in X disputes and has displayed a tendency to abuse power, but this is just an absurd reach and just the same old pattern of anti-Trump nonsense.
I think you're seeing the event through a lens of prejudice where his gesture must be deliberately a Nazi salute to stir the pot, while ignoring the uninteresting truth that it was a simple spontaneous gesture towards someone in the audience.
Elon also thankfully doesn't hold any executive power. He's not elected or appointed to any office that isn't the DOGE contract.
