I used jsp and g2g on poe1 for like 10 years. I didn't play for a year or more and logged on and I was banned. It took them 10+ years to ban the account. When I say I used g2g, I used tf out of g2g. Thousands of divs/ex (when ex were main currency) 100's of thousands of chaos with no trade link and always empty trades (g2g) it took em a decade+. I emailed them and admitted to RMT (didn't say jsp or what site) and they unbanned me the next day.

Would you say you have been lucky? I mean we are at a forum where people are often big spenders over many years, I just want to buy like 15 divs and I still don’t know how sketchy that will be! Can you recommend any sellers on g2g?

I feel like as long as you don’t talk about jsp in game, use trade links and don’t purchase huge amounts of currency, your going to be pretty invisible.
I trade a lot with discord servers so adding someone through whisper or ign isn’t exactly what will get you busted. Trades to constant RMT flagged accounts will also put you on the radar so only do a trade here and there. I would stay away from buying Currency from 3rd party sites as well those accounts trading with you will likely be flagged or banned and you don’t want to be associated with trades with them.

I would guess g2g is a bad place then? I figured those with smallish stock and good rating would have been okay sellers?

They are by far the riskiest way of trading I wouldn’t use that method if much prefer to get FG and trade with a high level that looks far more organic than accounts churning out however many currency trades per day

I can say the right sellers (most) are loyal and over the years I've never been scammed once BUT it's a quick way to get banned. I would not do it.

Making it look as "normal" of a trade as possible is the way to go...hence ppl using trade links etc.
But once they have an eye on you they will most likely spot fake trades anyway.

And theres quite some ppl active on JSP who are also involved in "real" MRT, so trading with them on JSP puts you at a pretty high risc.

Yes, I had several accounts banned be4 - thats why I store so much FG.
I never keep too much value in my Poe account.
Im also always only playing 1 build at a time.

When they ban your account you have one single chance to write an appeal for that account.
Its pretty much 50% chance they will grant it or not.
It also seems to be very random wether they grant it or not.
Ppl admitting RMTing in their appeal sometimes get away with it and sometimes dont...and ppl completely denying having done anything againast their ToS also sometimes get unbanned (or not...). Really random as i said.

I once even had an account unbanned twice (never heard of that be4 until then).

So if you are very afraid of losing your PoE account you should completely avoid JSP and other RMT.

Just do not EVER use ban appeal on their trade site. Email GGG support. If you click on ban appeal and they deny, youre done

You would not use g2g you say?

I had a lot of fgs some years ago here when I went big on d2 and trading here.

But I have none now, and the prices here are like 100-150% more expensive than on g2g, it’s rough.

I feel your are right. Buying and converting fg to poe2 currency is much more expensive than buying from g2g tho :(

It’s not if one could likely get you banned though!
