Probably exactly where you were last year. Good enough I'm the regular season but not the postseason.
And what do you mean step up? This is the Jalen hurts now. He's lost a step and has to rely on his throwing ability more, which is just ok. Sure, he will pop a run like tonight every once in awhile but he is noticably slower compared to two years ago. We saw it last season too.
With all the talent on this team, he's only ever going to be asked to be a game manager. If team becomes less talented over the next 3-4 years and they ask him to do more eagles fans are going to be in for a rude awakening.
He's a very competent QB, but not the superstar most of you think you have. He may not even be in the top 2 QB in the division.
Edit: don't mean to shit on him, I would be very happy to have him as a starting QB on my team.
stepping up as in throwing for more than 128 yards in a playoff game, and not taking bad sacks costing the team points. the safety was completely on him. missed goedart over the middle as he does all the time, misses everything over the middle.
he would have had more than the 128 if not for the aj drop, but again, aj 2 catches 15 yards this week after 1 last week. devonta 4 for 21. goedart had 1 drive where he dominated but didnt do much aside from that.
average at best as a passer. and like you said its ok as long as he keeps us in the game, makes the throws when needed and doesnt turn the ball over. but he needs to do more than what he did today next week. wont be a snow bowl again next sunday.
defense is #1 for a reason. showed it today. nolan smith has turned into such a stud. jalen carter deserves all the praise he can get.
oren burks made some plays, defense as a whole played well today even after losing Q.
