You're right. I see it mostly in the NFL. Sometimes in basketball. Even college basketball. Not just the NBA. I truly believe I witnessed some point shaving about a month ago during a college basketball game. It was alarming to watch happen in live time. Hopefully the Bills or Ravens will get a fair shake vs. the Chiefs next weekend. Hit Patrick Mahomes at your own risk. Flag will surely be thrown. With a trip to the Super Bowl on the line. Only pure sport to bet on now a days is women's tennis. I actually feel you can win or lose a lot more reasonably while getting a fair shake in women's tennis. Individual sports require less distractions from things you simply can't control. Men's tennis is okay also but not as fun as women's tennis.

I really hope the NFL doesn't fine DeMeco Ryans for being honest. I don't think that's fine worthy anyway. The two late hits on Patrick Mahomes didn't look like much at all. But it still resulted in 30 yards of penalties. Extending two critical scoring drives for the Chiefs. Which in large part was the difference in the game. A roughing the passer and another personal foul. If you watch the two plays in question, in slow motion, you can clearly see that a penalty did not occur. But somehow Mahomes is officiated a lot differently than CJ Stroud. Who got absolutely murdered today by several big hits. A lot worse than those two hits that Mahomes drew flags on.

Another play, same drive as the second bogus call, Mahomes flopped out of bounds trying to draw another late hit. Referee was standing a foot away. Didn't throw a flag that time. I was about to laugh in frustration had a flag been thrown on that obvious flop and dive to the ground out of bounds. There was a light shove so I was anticipating for it to be another flag.

Not to say some BS calls is why the Texans lost. We also missed two field goals, an extra point and dropped multiple big passes by Stroud (Hutchinson and Wayne need to catch those), but clearly when you add up everything, It's remarkable the Texans were even in this game for as much as they were. If the Texans merely add a couple more playmakers on offense this off-season and get lucky staying healthy next season. I don't see why they can't go 15-2 and win a Super Bowl. The offensive line needs work also. Preferably a new offensive lines coach. You can even sell me on a new offensive coordinator as well.

The Houston Texans, I'd argue, will be a top 3 team in the NFL going into next season. To win a Super Bowl they need those extra playmakers.

Intentional safety was the smart football play to seal the game. It was still a two posession game.

While it's a long shot, punting from right there on 4th down leaves the door open for a blocked punt and then onsides kick recovery.

If there is enough money on it, I'm sure all and everything is rigged/influenced in favor of the house besides the obvious story lines. I had a transfer coworker from Tinidad who was really into cricket who says over there, they pretty much openly have players rig things per their stats, etc. My only hope for Buffalo winning is the fact that Hamlin Died on the field/new stadium being done next year/Bills Mafia has always donates insane amounts of money to good causes...maybe the string pullers noticed. I'm genuinely not convinced the Bills can make it past the Ravens tomorrow, and these two teams going to beat eachother up so badly my Chiefs will just glide through next weekend's AFC CHampionship game on our way to challenge the Lions/eagles for the 3peat.
