My account just got hacked after trading for an astramentis, almost 500 div gone.

FYI GGG didn't fix their vulnerability.

No email was sent to me, just logged me off as i went to take a break, came back said i was logged off due to a login from another location. Came back, items and div were gone.

GGG is hot garbage. They lying to you. Don't invest anything into this game. You'll get hacked too once you do a high level trade.

Also, had you changed your password since all the hacking started?

How long after the trade did it happen? Immediately?

It logged you out and you took a break????

I do use poe overlay.

I traded for astramentis, played for a few hours, took an hour break. I believe the hackers waited for my trade account to say afk then logged in to go after my items.

Came back to the pc to see I had been logged off due to login from another location.

No email notification sent. They are bypassing it somehow. I get it when I swap location, home office and work place.

GGG is lying to you saying their system is fixed. It is not. I doubt I am one of the unlucky 66 they said got hacked. This problem is most likely much bigger than they let on.

They will then give yoy the option to play account and don’t report or report and get account locked

And when you get your account finally unlocked guess what they delete your characters to remove the logs lmao

a friend got hacked week ago, reported but didnt get account locked...

support proabably didnt get to his email yet tbh.

My understanding is they never admitted/acknowledged “hideout jacking” or whatever. They said an admin account was compromised.

This means whatever is happening in these instances is a separate issue which they haven’t acknowledged or addressed.

Still not sure why these “hackers” wouldn’t do this with every single astramentis/mirror etc. listed on. trade, if it was as easy as whispering you and getting all your shit. THAT’S where I think there has to be more to it. Unless every astra,mirror, etc is stolen, this still doesn’t really make a ton of sense to me.

but yeah, as others said, the consensus here is that ggg is hiding something because the reason they gave us doesnt really hold water whatever the problem was, its likely still not fixed
