Hi guys,

I used to play D2 about 20 years back. now i have d2r and am ready to have some new fun.

Back in those days i had the moost fun playing with a group. We played hardcore and used only the items we found during our playtime. We tried to play the entire game, from act 1 normal till act 5 hell completing all quests etc. We would be with 6 till 8 people and combined both fun and effective builds. The group was called KTA (kill them all).

Is there any group playing like that playing this game?

Too bad I don't play D2R, else I'd be quite open to this.

I actually have a secret dream for d2, which I doubt I'll ever be able to do. That is to find 7 other like minded players, and do a single pass run together using 4 zealots (blessed aim/conc/fana/might), 1 avenger (conviction), 1 glass cannon strafer, 1 fury druid and 1 berserk barb. Plenty of auras/BO/HoW or Oak for the team and berserk/vengeance for PI. Only concern would be the levels which may affect AR haha, not sure if those buffs would suffice.

I like the idea but not so much the lineup. 7 chars trying to melee single targets would be madness.

My offline WT with my buddy in highschool remains my best d2 experience. I played zealot and he WW Barb.

Haha it's intentional. To me there's no point in playing melee in group single pass setting when you have spells dishing out damage numbers many times yours. You'd become irrelevant to the party. Ands it's also very easy to clear the game if every party member casts spells.

My proposed choice of party are all weapon dependent. But they are all aided by multiple different auras/buff that hopefully would make a difference.
