Everyone I am trying to do expensive trades with wants a trade link. Help

You list an useless item on PoE trade site > copy the trade link from the site > paste into private message on jsp > the buyer copies the message and whispers you ingame > Give him the useless item vs whatever you are buying or vice versa.

Let's say I want to sell 50 divines, am I supposed to price my useless item exactly 50 divines? Or does that not make any difference?

You do everything you would when selling something for 50 divines, except you get fg too. It should look and feel exactly like any trade, and be indistinguishable from a real trade in game. Very simple.

If you're selling divines, someone else lists an item for the amount they are buying and send you a trade link. You then message them in game WITH THE TRADE LINK to buy the item, which should be listed for however many divs they are buying.

If you are selling the 50 divines, the buyer needs to send you the trade link, you don't have to list an item. The buyer of you 50 divs will register a useless item for 50 divs, send you the link which you'll copy, whisper ingame and make the trade for the divines and you'll get your fgs as well.

So whoever is buying something needs to prepare a trade link.
