Hello! I am looking to get into Barb vs Barb GM Melee and dueling with No Runewords. I have been searching for an Erep Balrog Blade but decided I should probably ask the community what to look for before I drop a couple hundred thousand FG on a set. I know I need to avoid things like Cold damage on my weapon. Is there any other Esoteric info I should know about with this type of dueling?

I want to buy a full kit but I want to be sure that I know what to look for and don't make a dozen mistakes like I have in the past with buying gear xD

If anyone can illuminate what the BIS items and settup is, that would be amazing. If you want to post some trophy items here and give me a clue what to look for, thats even better! I love seeing Godly gear.

Eth Breath Of The Dying 400-415 Ed
2400-2505 Eth Upg Black Hades 3 Sox (Zod 2 Sox)
Steelrend Gorerider Stormshield Highlords and more

Those are the Pillars of whole D2 Melee Religion ^^

Those will never be banned in melee league or tournament,
when your goal is to enjoy gm melee dueling with all gm players that want
to have fun with you :thumbsup:

Those can beat many rares and can be equal to some gz rares.
And in many cases cheap ofc

The most important barb slot on Art of war Bvb dueling that is must and its stats makes difference = Rare Visionary Helm

Its honestly the one and only Rare item that your barb really needs :love:
And inventory full of Magical charms

Ya I have seen the Eagle Barb and insane Visio. Shits awesome. Very inspiring. Guess I will probably just get a perfect EBOTD for now and build up to 350k to buy the next eagle barb xD


I have received a couple illuminating messages through DMs. Starting to understand everything a bit more now. I will probably give up the quest for the next eagle barb and just appreciate EBOTD and find a nice visio <3. Can anyone tell me the most hyped PvP league around here? Most hyped meaning the largest most active community.
