D2R BvB Ruleset

- Do not prebuff.
- Do not precast.
- Do not enchant.
- Do not use healing potions.
- You must actively engage your opponent, and not just continously wait for them to make the first attack.
- You may change gear once during a set with a called "timeout" only after a kill/death, and once between each set.
Incumbent player may select realm to begin the duel in. Asia / EU / Americas

Best 2 out of 3 sets. Duels are first to 5. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO WIN BY 2.

- Draws - If neither player survives a walk back to town, counts as a draw. No point awarded to either player
- It can be required that both show gear before a duel if one feels the other may be using disallowed gear pieces.


Challenge System

- Want to be added to the ladder? Please post your JSP name/Character name
- You are allowed to challenge 1-2 ranks above you until you get to #3. At #3, you win both to get to #1.
- To issue a challenge you must pm your opponent, then post in thread.
- If you issue a challenge and win, you must wait 12 hours to issue another challenge. If you issue a challenge and lose you must wait 24 hours to issue another challenge, or 48 hours to rechallenge the same person.
- If you are challenged and win, you can issue a challenge immediately. If you are challenged and lose, you must wait 24 hours to issue a challenge.
- 7-Day Dodge rule NO EXCEPTIONS (AFK, No-reply, No-show = Auto-loss) 3 consecutive Dodges = Removed from ladder.
- If you cannot complete your challenge on time it is your responsibility to PM your challenger to inform them and then post in thread asking for an extension. If you fail to do this dodge rule will be enforced.
- If neither of you post why it wasn't completed, its a dodge for the challenged individual. NO EXCEPTIONS.
- If you cannot fight for more then 21 consecutive days, you go back to the bottom of players list. NO EXCEPTIONS
- Post your results in this thread so we can update the ladder and Records!

To begin the competition ladder, I entered my own six level 81 barbs into the list to give it some intial substance.

These will be quickly moved off the list or dispelled by new challengers as they enter.

We will use this method to prove that disallowed gear & prebuff equipment is not being used.

I think we've got enough to just start making challenges to each other.

You cannot challenge "down", and you can challenge up to +2 above you... until you get to #3 spot, then it's only +1 above you.

I'm going to leave my 2hand barbs on the list... free kills :D


Edit - I moved *Isran & *ElvisFreshly down to the bottom of the list, because I believe they are still working on leveling up to 81. Everyone else was placed in the order that they signed up.
