sorry these sort of BM rules just offend me basic pvp fair play good manner and thawing potions aloud in the same sentence is wild, im from east where there is no rules and we dont even allow thawings/thawing glitch

i can pick through this whole thing and write a long message but frankly the whole thing is wack, i dont even think this is an attempt to create balance, what it is, is its players nerfing characters/builds they dont use, get beat by, dont know how to counter, and so on

there is some imbalanced match ups sadly but its part of the circle of life that makes it so one character can not rule them all just because an amazon gets destroyed by bonewalls/boneprison doesnt mean we have to change the entire way the game is played, and to tweak it in a way where a character who was weaker now has an advantage over another character is wild clapclap

clearly you want to make a rule specific tournament clearly nothing wrong with that but at the sametime these sort of rule duels are bad for the community only having handycapped duels and never having real duels sucks and its a shame because clearly i am out numbered and these sort of rule-duels will be the normal simply because there is more noobs, then experts the 95% of noobs out vote the 5% of experts these sort of duels will take over and there will be winners on winners on winners of people who are considered to be the best, but really are not

These rules were created in 2010 by an old legacy Classic D2 PVP group in EU realm.

There was obviously a lot of time and thought spent on trying to make each class viable against any other class.

Without molding a set of rules in such a way, everything is a "trump card" against another class. Necro might easily destroy every hammerdin, but in turn easily be destroyed by leap barb. And barb is easily destroyed by "X" class, and so on etc etc.

So instead of allowing the matchups brackets seeding control who wins, because with the above situation, that is exactly how it will work.... The rule set allows for any class to have a chance to win versus a class they previously had zero chance against...due to how the game is designed.

There's no point in holding a tournament, when the game design already has selected the winners due to class imbalances.

Playing in normal mode was their way of controlling how the resistances are limited for balancing.

Again, these rules were developed in 2010, and have been used by the Classic EU community for decades now.

If you have a better rule set, then please post it or just keep your opinion to yourself
