I had my game crashing a lot and when I switched from the direct x12 to Vulcan it fixed it. Hope it works. It’s in the settings of poe

I fresh windows installed it lol

Tried this, DX12 and DX11, including the switch on vulkan to medium textures, no luck.

check the fresh instal for the patch, afaik it need to be specific windows instal without the patch otherwise it will autoupdate the patch with the fresh one, i have many friends playing and crash problems come only from this patch and people who dont realize they got it installed

try dx12 vs vulkan (dx12 works for me)
update gpu drivers to latest
verify file integrity on steam
clear directx shader cache via Windows Disk Cleanup Service
Delete C:\Users\YourUserHere\AppData\Roaming\Path of Exile 2\ShaderCacheD3D12 and/or Vulkan Folder (will rebuild shaders when roaming game over time)
NVIDIA Control Panel -> Manage 3D settings -> Shader Cache Size -> Set to unlimited or 100GB
System -> Display -> Graphics -> "Browse" -> SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Path of Exile 2 (wherever this is) -> Add both PathOfExile_x64Steam + the other executables -> Select them both below -> "Options" -> High Performance -> Select your dedicated GPU.
turn off NVIDIA Overlay, and/or any other overlays.

if all of this fails, then throw your PC out the window and head to your local micro center. gl

im at the toss my pc point i guess lmao which is dumb since my brother's garbage pc runs it

are you playing windowed? If not can try changing window/windowed full screen etc, i think there are some settings that will lock it to desktop resolution. no idea if this could help.

Does it happen when doing anything specifically within poe? Could definitely be something that you can't fix lol.

Most recently was talking to renly crashing consistently but it'll be fighting monsters, maps, changing instances, etc
