You should use IAS calculator. I think it’s 63 without Arach slow but might be mistaken.

More damage with death not?

beast has fanaticism and 40 str which both increase damage and also with the fanaticism you don't need 20 ias gloves and could wear steelrends for massive damage increase

Yes its 63 for ba without fana.
No 70 should not cover arach slow.

And ur wirl will have low ar typical on a throwbarb, so beast is still prefered for PVP, and your beast can be combined with a 3bo metamorphosis in CUBE to give urself mark of the bear for 180 seconds 25 EIAS and 20% DR.
And unless you run a almost zero fcr coa barb your going to lack both DR and ias without Mark of Bear.

4fpa throw, max wirl ias, mark of the bear, max res, high damage, good ar, good frw. The 4fpa breakpoints take away the 40fcr posibility.

By using a 20fcr/3soc diadem of the magus, you could reach 3,5fpa throw. And alternate between 20fcr/3,5fpa and 40fcr/4fpa.

When enemies are amped your wepon and wirl / axe mastery skill level gonna outperform normal bvc.
15,9k ar and amp and doom and beast is quite good wirl. Quite BM as well... So yes, if no doom u can use a death or grief instead doom. But beast is neccesary for mark cast.
