He hasn't looked as impressive this season, but how many times has he clutched up when it matters most. 2 minute drill in the SB you're telling me he isn't the active QB you want under center on your team?

I'm not saying he sucks, he's easily top 10 every year. What a ton of casual fans are failing to realise and acknowledge is that the NFL has been heavily nerfing defense the past few years. There's no way he'd have performed the same as the old guard playing before it was basically flag football.

He's mostly being extremely overhyped because of a few plays that look flashy to casuals who just recently started watching NFL

If people don't see that after watching this final week, and especially the panthers game, then they never will
