maybe not a lot of hackers, or more likely they just dont want to create too much attention personally if i was hacking people, i would keep a relatively low profile and have like 3-4k$ a month rather than getting 20k in one hit i mean imagine if they hit someone big, they will attract attention of both ggg (so far ggg has been successfully ignoring it for a month) and players (so everyone stops buying and even playing) and lose income

yeah, it the fault is on GGGs end you really think they will just keep this exploit in the game and do nothing about it for months?

If this is really an exploit related to session-ids then you know exactly that your time is running out and you have to make the most out of it asap.

i dont think it matters what i think, the evidence is pointing in ggg's direction. same as i dont care about why quantum theory doesnt make sense to anyone as long as my computer works all i can see here is, this happens in poe2, regardless of 3rd party apps used or password literacy, the only things that are common to everyone are poe2 and official trading site i mean this isnt absolute evidence ofc, im not saying ggg is definitely to blame here, im just saying ggg is most likely to blame oh and for making the trading in the game a mess and not having an auction house and MFA they are definitely to blame


but my personal opinion, knowing ggg, is they care only about bigger net money gain. currently i guess they consider a bigger loss if they went out and said "okay we fucked up" because people would lose confidence. my personal guess is that they are pretending to be on vacation while silently trying to fix this.

I still think it’s a bunch of clowns that put their login info in random trade tools because they think they are pro flippers and got fucked. Lmao.

Ggg is far from perfect but I think this one is just low hanging fruit of lazy Poe players willingly putting their info into trade extensions and overlays by random devs bc they had trusted sources in poe1.

people getting hacked using only poe2 and trading over the official site, and even worse theres been reports of people accidentally logging into other peoples accounts, which is something that 5 or so years ago and was ggg's fault, they admitted it back then
