Just got to maps, can clear easy, should I Trans/Aug/Regal every map even at tier 1 or save my regals for higher tiers?

Really depends on your situation - I found that map sustain wasn't too bad early on. Started regaling around t6 ish maybe unless I was running low. If you are coming to a boss node run your highest map, and either alch or regal it, and you'll have plenty of maps.

At this point in the "league" you can buy them for super cheap though, but probably not necessary unless you want to just jump straight to t15 kinda thing.

I've only run two tier 1s and I have 17 more and two tier 2 already. Seems like sustain won't be an issue unless I start dying?

So why are you asking if you should regal, sounds like you already knew the answer?

I'm asking if the drops from a tier 1 on magic vs. Regal covers the costs of the regal

But you’ll eventually gear out of this issue and get enough waystones as you start stacking mods. But it can be a PIA to get out of the hole if you dig yourself in for a minute.

Prefixes affect loot/rarity/monster density/monster quality.

Suffixes affect waystone drop but have the shitty mods.

Just use your HIGHEST waystones (save them if you need to) with good suffixes (300%++) on boss nodes and you'll easily dig back out, as long as you don't repeatedly die. If you're repeatedly dying though, I don't think pushing higher is the solution.

Yeah I did get out. But was out of boss nodes (I always run these right away so had burned them all) and trying to get back up to T10+ when you only have tier 1/2 waystones can take a little bit. It’s not too bad, just took a little bit of digging.

Low tier sustain is infinite .
You can buy tier 1 map to vendor 5k each then put3x in reforging bench to get a tier 2
So tier 1 5 k gold
T2 15k gold
T3 45kgold...

Prefix give some nice boost om rarity/quantity of items, gold, pack size etc
While suffixes will be more like handicap mods and steroid for mobs but will provide a good boost for maps drop chance
