surprisingly I might agree, you are probably right that economy is not ruined because of temporalis. I guess it's weird combination of lack of content, lack of crafting and lack of build variety (archmage, attr stacker, bugged temporalis shock build). I would probably be done with the game even if there were no dupes and hyperinflation.
Sidenote - divine price can't be explained by the similar divine price in PoE1. Totally different purposes (no metacrafts here), possibly different drop rates.
Yea, limited build diversity is pretty rough - would be nice to get a couple ascendancies/content updates etc monthly, but doubtful. I think they'll see a playerbase decline and hopefully react accordingly.
Lacking in content and build diversity are legitimate reasons imo to drop the game and definitely don't blame you.
I agree that divs don't serve the same purpose, and exalts are used probably more than chaos vs poe 1 (lots of scour/alch vs chaos due to cost, chaos is for "rich" people rerolling maps lol). I guess a div is just like a $100 bill. The value comes from it's rarity, and socially appointed value. I will say that divines ARE worth the cost though, considering you can gamble them on certain items to significantly increase the value (multiples times the value, obv can still do this in POE1), but yea, less purposes here than POE1 atm.
Hopefully more content comes soon.
