Min was in the wcf finals last year and has one of thr best players in the nba. No shame in losing to them. Hou is headed for the playoffs, no need to overreact to random losses. All you want to see is if the effort and consistency is there every night and if they can hold their own vs good teams.
It would be nice to have a proven superstar. Of all the young talent the Rockets have Alperen Sengun is the most all-star ready.
Jalen Green can become special but the consistency isn't always there. And Amen Thompson could become a future all-star also.
I've been disappointed with Jabari Smith Jr. His size, athleticism and skills. Should be the next Chris Bosh. He's good but not Bosh.
And the young guys with less experience. Cam Whitmore and Reed Sheppard. A work in progress. Cam shows more star potential.
Not that De'Aaron Fox is a superstar but he's a proven star putting up 26-5-6. He's 7th in scoring. We don't have a dominant closer right now.
A guy that can close those tight games. Jalen Green and Amen Thompson could become that but they aren't there yet. Sengun is often doubled.
Watching the final offensive possession last night for the Rockets. It upset me that Minnesota doubled Sengun multiple times. We didn't attack the rim.
