De'Aaron Fox would be nice for games like these. He can score in a variety of ways and is relentless at attacking the basket. Absolutely have to get a higher percentage shot on that final offensive possession down one point. Especially when Minnesota was sending the double on Sengun multiple times. We had two chances to roll to the rim for an easier game-winning score. A Fred VanVleet three isn't the most ideal shot selection in that situation. I'm so frustrated! Going to take it out on some Hardcore Ladder Slasher kills and then cry myself to sleep after drinking heavily. Two big glasses of milk. Not alcohol. Why Fred? Why!! Attack the basket. Needed a bucket there. Not a three.

The Rockets had a nice 16-point lead with 4:45 left in the game. They were outscored 23-6 the rest of the way...
I'm critical of their final offensive possession and rightfully so. But truth is it shouldn't have come down to that!!

It's been a long time since I felt this devastated over an NBA loss. Game 7 of the 2018 Western Conference Finals type of emotions. I feel so numb.

I need an anger management class like the movie from 2003. This iconic scene cheers me up a little bit. <3

Last night's Rockets game made me realize that it's probably all fool's gold to believe in anything anyway.
Watch us end our five-year playoff drought just to get bounced in the first round. I took that loss to heart.
I'm getting too high after the wins and too low after the losses. I don't know how to balance my emotions.

Min was in the wcf finals last year and has one of thr best players in the nba. No shame in losing to them. Hou is headed for the playoffs, no need to overreact to random losses. All you want to see is if the effort and consistency is there every night and if they can hold their own vs good teams.

It would be nice to have a proven superstar. Of all the young talent the Rockets have Alperen Sengun is the most all-star ready.
Jalen Green can become special but the consistency isn't always there. And Amen Thompson could become a future all-star also.

I've been disappointed with Jabari Smith Jr. His size, athleticism and skills. Should be the next Chris Bosh. He's good but not Bosh.
And the young guys with less experience. Cam Whitmore and Reed Sheppard. A work in progress. Cam shows more star potential.

Not that De'Aaron Fox is a superstar but he's a proven star putting up 26-5-6. He's 7th in scoring. We don't have a dominant closer right now.
A guy that can close those tight games. Jalen Green and Amen Thompson could become that but they aren't there yet. Sengun is often doubled.

Watching the final offensive possession last night for the Rockets. It upset me that Minnesota doubled Sengun multiple times. We didn't attack the rim.

Did the Phoenix Suns lose again and drop under .500? 15-16. A losing record now. Interesting.

The Rockets own Suns first-round pick in 2027 and 2029. With swap option for the 2025 draft.
Suns have to keep losing and eventually fall off the map next year. Devin Booker trade fantasy.

Rockets have the option to swap their own first-round pick with the Suns first-round pick in the next NBA Draft (June 2025).
As it currently stands right now. That's most likely going to happen. The Rockets should finish with a better record than Phoenix.

EDIT: Best part about all these Phoenix picks the Rockets have... All of them are unprotected picks!
So if the Suns keep losing this season. End up in the NBA Lottery. Get lucky and get the #1 overall pick.
The Rockets can basically swap their first-round pick. Let's say it's the 25th pick. For the 1st pick. LOL
