REPORT: The Spurs, Rockets, Lakers and Heat are potential suitors for 27-year-old, all-star point guard De’Aaron Fox, per @espn_macmahon

“If Fox asks out, teams like San Antonio and Houston are the ones to watch. With Houston being in the best position to win right now and in the future. The Rockets have more assets to facilitate a trade than the Spurs do. I’ve also heard rumors about the Lakers, but it’s hard to tell how much of that is just speculation because he’s a Klutch client.

I'm hearing some interesting talk on the local sports-talk radio show that the Houston Rockets still believe they can make a play for a Devin Booker trade at some point in the next couple of years should the Suns keep regressing with their future outlook. Suns are basically an average team right now barely staying above .500. And Kevin Durant isn't getting any younger that's for sure.

And the Rockets may be hesitant to 'aggressively chase' a De'Aaron Fox trade right now because they'll want to have all of their assets to pull off a trade for a superstar in his prime. Devin Booker is 28 years old. He may be closer to 30 by the time the Rockets have a clear path when it comes to trading for him. On the other hand, De'Aaron Fox just turned 27 years old last week, and he went to high school in the Houston area (Katy, Texas). There may be more mutual interest in Fox and the Rockets.

Another option the Houston Rockets have. Standing pat. All that young talent. There's no reason to rush any trade. Believe in player development. Keep winning games.
The Rockets are on pace to win close to 55 games and finish with a top three seed in the Western Conference. Sometimes what you have is the best thing to believe in.

When you're ending a long playoff drought that is hopefully about to end after five years. You can't get too caught up with wanting to win an NBA Title this soon.

Just In: The Sacramento Kings are parting ways with head coach Mike Brown, sources told ESPN.

That's the first domino people expected to happen. Now comes the De'Aaron Fox trade request.
My only fear is if the Rockets don't pounce on acquiring Fox he's going to end up with the Spurs.

Wemby and De'Aaron Fox. Oh boy! Scary combo. The Houston Rockets need to be smart but not too conservative.
As much as I'd love to have Devin Booker. We can't let some fantasy or pipe dream come in the way of De'Aaron Fox.

would you rather your player give up this much fg% or sit out most of the season? asking for a friend.

Standard, taking shots at players better than Embid so he can feel better about how garbage the sixers are

I admire Jokic's durability and offensive game. Guy is so good for being fat and a subpar athlete in NBA standards. I wish Embiid could stay that healthy.

But that man is a revolving door on defense just letting everyone in and it doesn't get talked about enough. Center needs to be able to defend the rim.

Ant-Man. Heartbreaker. Man. I'd have gone all in on the Rockets ML too. LOL
But I didn't have 100 yet to make the minimum bet and I want to bet on baseball in April.

This is why we need De'Aaron Fox at point guard. I like Fred VanVleet but attack the rim there down one point. A little off on the three.

What a heartbreaker. I'm just speechless. Rockets blew a 16-point lead too. I needed a Rockets win after the Texans got embarrassed 31-2 on Christmas.
