im ignorant in this as im not a programmer but i just got kicked out of diablo 2 and now im stuck at the login screen checking versions... i think it was from another player bcuz they were talking so much smack in d2 channel lol just wondering if anyone else has experienced this or if anyone knows how to do this its def some sort of hacking into my ip process or flooding my internet maybe even ddos but i have no clue
are you sure you didnt just receive a longer temp ban / realm down?
longest is 2 weeks, not sure if it extends if you try to login before
it's low chance that someone can do it - there were various bugs and hacks during the years though
much more possible that you got temp banned somehow
there is some wild shit, for example long time ago, someone here posted that they have a working rollback method for sale, people wrote trash in the comments - but I joined - and the guy really had some way to crash the server via some A5 exploit
that probably got patched, but who knows
