Hey all,
I'm running a semi off-meta pure fire build (using frost bomb only for extra dmg on chill)
I have 75 all res (including chaos), 2k health, 2k energy shield
0% evasion, Armor 18%
I'm wondering what can I start to gear to make myself more survivable? It seems like evasion is the obvious choice, but finding gear that is an upgrade with evasion and still has energy shield it's looking like 30-40ex minimum per upgrade. Any suggestions? I'm considering running everlasting gaze but I only have about 1200 mana right now as the fire passives don't spec as easily into energy shield/mana

Get a shield and passively block

Go CI and tap every % es node on the tree

Kill them before they killed you.

Should i run MOM if running CI?

Yes run both, don't run MOM until like 3k mana tho.

Damn how to reach 3k mana?

Im at lv 80 sorc. Sitting at 4k es and 1.7k mana

Depends on your build, if you're archmage you wanna mana stack. Everlasting gaze is the easiest route. Other than that simply mana stack every item you can. I'm 4k ES, 5k mana right now.

Should roll monk instead

as other have said, ci + es nodes w/ archmage

d2jsp answered: remove all life, and cut mana recover in 2, only heal when out of combat for 4sec


You can take 36%MoM from tree and 4%MoM in jewels, without loosing 50%mana recovery.
Then there is damage taken gained as mana (50belt+24amu+26tree)*1.15more from tree
You even have this body armour: sacrifice 10%mana per sec, to recover that match life
