Agree, much better than coal though, the real problem with nuclear is a two pronged issue of cost and public perception, nuclear is incredibly expensive in the building phase and whilst a decent percentage of people support building it, almost none of them want it anywhere near their suburb.
How do you think the Chinese make all the panels and parts for the wind generators? Oh, that's right. Coal power plants. See any of the oil spills from the wind generators? Sincerely, absolute disaster.
Coal, Natural Gas, Hydro, and Nuclear power are the only reliable sources of power. And all 4 have been under attack for decades. Coal is "dirty", even though the stack scrubbers capture the released carbon so it does NOT go into the atmosphere. Natural Gas is bad because... Reasons? Still unclear there. Hydro kills the fishes. And Nuclear will cause the end of the world, or some shit.
In spite of what you may think, I'm all for alternative power sources. However, we must continue using coal, gas, and nuclear until the point where replacements are viable and won't land us all in a powerless situation. You know the first people to die if the power goes out for longer than 3 days? Every diabetic.
Further, since this is all in response to your anti-coal mining stance... Are you familiar with how steel is made? Raw steel is not mined, in spite of what that complete idiot Ben Shapiro claims. There's no such thing as a "steel mine". Without coal, no steel. You understand that, right?
