You are saying people have it great, there are growing homeless camps in every major western city in the world, it's going to be a tough sell for you to tell these people they are doing great.
Oh ok, you thought I meant every single individual person rather than the great majority. Well there's our problem. I thought it was obvious that I was referring to the overwhelming majority. What about a guy born without hands and feet? That's not great at all.
It is worth noting though that homeless people also have it better than homeless people ever have. Something like 50% of homeless people in America own cars... this was not the case when I was a child. Something like 60% of homeless people are "sheltered homeless", which again has never been the case. Also, the number of "chronic homeless" people in America has remained more or less unchanged. The "homeless" guy with a car is going to be fine once his family convinces him to go to rehab in most cases.
