Get someone like Deone Walker this year for the d-line, and some help on the o-line, and tank 2025. Get a top 5 pick for 2026 and draft the QB of the future.

Problem with tanking with a new coaching staff is that kind of mentality loses the locker room. The environment and culture generally don’t recover for many years.

They need to draft a QB in 2026 and develop but I don’t think tanking is going to do anything for us. Likely we won’t be the worst team in football anyways. Better to give Geno a reasonable extension. Draft A QB in 2026, develop them behind Geno. Even if it costs a kings ransom trade up in the draft to get your guy.

The team needs to field a competent offensive line before the QB will matter at all anyways. That’s what you focus on this year. Likely the upgraded offensive line makes Geno look a lot better anyways. Dudes playing behind a bottom 5 o-line with zero run game.

I support him over Sam Howell, but that's about it. And even then it's still close
