Logged in and opened the bank entering the pin, and it then told my my pin removal was canceled.
Could I have click on something first without noticing it to send a pin removal request?
Would of thought they would of taken my account to high risk pvp world and at least taken my runepouch, fury, and berzerker ring.
Regardless, changed the Password, the email associated with the account, and the email password for good measure.
* I really don't want to convert this account to the new system, as if that would help.

Knowing you knowing me who knows you, you prob misclicked the button but just to be sure I would reset your password and possibly even your pin itself.

Sorry but you can't just misclick the request bank pin reset on accident without realizing.

changing your associated email with your login email should have been done when you first made your account. that's basic account security.

Yeah, thought it was associated with the burner Email I made it under, then later it asked for me to associate an email to do something, and for some reason I put my regular gmail.
Should the associated email be different from the burner email I made for this account?

People want/need your login email so they can get into your account. If they're different, it makes it harder for people to hack you.

If someone gets my login email, cool. They can't do anything with it. No way they can use that to attempt to change my password or make me change my password to something they have access to. It's basically a username login.

Guess I'll make another separate burner email, got any host suggestions.
Is proton the best I can do?
Gmail, and Yahoo have shut down and deleted burner emails in the past.

To think all they had to do was wait for the bond to expire and me to take a weeks long break and it would of possibly been a really good lick.

To my knowledge no email just gets deleted for inactivity, but I could be wrong.

I set up my main account with a burner email then immediately switched it for my main. So I don't have to worry about anything. If you did the opposite, then you might want a second main email that you login to once in awhile. I'd still use Gmail with 2fa.

I think I can make proton to not allow logins unless I confirm a Text code, as well as a bunch of other stuff like time locks as if it was narcotics in a pharmacy safe.

Nah, never enabled it because you have to re apply for it like every 30 or 45 days I forget.
It automatically disables after a short time, its not a Jagex account, it was made before they changed new accounts a year ago.
