Aha! I see. Now this is a rabbit hole! Much of the gear would stay the same and you'll adjust to how and what you play. The biggest difference would be your charms, as you'd have no need to clog up space with fire skillers. Think in terms of @res, life, fhr, mf, etc. This would allow more swaps.

If you're ok teleporting/static on switch, this hits 105% FCR:

Armor - Viper with RBF
Swap Weapon - Hoto or even Wiz
Swap Shield - Spirit

If stacking FHR with charms, it could also open up the gloves slot for FCR gloves (Magefists, Trangs) + Viper + 2/15 ammy to hit your 63% on main. Helm would still be FF for the -15, belt razortail, boots are your preference, rings to plug holes that charms can't for whichever area you're running (i.e., CBF, absorbs, etc.)


That's half the fun with this build, is there's no one best method, and you can choose-your-own-adventure to suit your preferences. Think of it like gear swapping in PvP to maximize whatever you're running.

That's a downside of this build. It's still a sorc without a shield.

I recommended points into Vitality to help with this. FHR is crucial as your explosive arrows provide knockback in a sense (I don't know how to describe more than this - Brand and Demon Machine both have the same animations on packs when I tested it out, even though there's no knockback with Demon Machine). And the faster you can get another shot off/tele away the better you are. Play style is naturally closer to a bowazon where you're not tele-ing into the middle of Lord de Seis.

FHR/@res or life/@res charms are your best friends to slide under the fire skillers.

Survivability is one of the reasons I didn't like the 20/-20 Jeweler's armor. Enigma frankly rocks for survivability as your life always replenishes as the mobs are mowed down, but at the cost of damage/maneuverability, which is why we don't have most people running that. If doing multiple areas, you really only have to worry when your ES and CA run out as their don't have nearly the duration of cast as Enchant. I think Enchant is upwards of 15 minutes, whereas the others are ~5 minutes. Then you definitely feel a slice from a mad cow.

soj also has its benefits, overall id say theres no difference other than the fact u still got to have soj for prebuf


Oh yea I personally don’t prebuff that big but maybe for higher playercount it’s needed

Unfortunately beyond my current Luddite abilities. But, I will take a look at what’s involved. Some of the other posters here may be able to chip in who are more adept in that side of things.

Google/youtube has several versions of the build in the interim.

I have 4 spare Unid Demon Machines lying around if anyone is interested.. they just keep dropping. Have to pickup on Xbox though.

I'll rephrase my question:

Let's say you have a max enchantress on account 2 and a demon machine sorc on account 1. The demon machine sorc doesn't need to make any compromise on the gear to get good prebuff as she would get max enchant from account 2. Then, what gear would you use on account 1's demon machine sorc?


I had this same question. OP answered with some recommendations for gear, but I'm more interested in skill point allocation. Is there some hybridized version that opens up if the demon machine account no longer needs to invest in max enchant, etc.?

Very interesting. I just wonder do you even need any skill in fire tree(except warmth). You got most your dmg from your buddy’s enchant.

Assuming you don't need to invest in fire tree outside of warmth, what's the best or most interesting use?
