Probably less but in classic static is different you can drop monster hp down to like 1% or so not like in lod

honestly i play nothing but classic and ive never had a rush sorc in 25+ years
or a dual elemental

there is no cold immune monsters during a rush...?

at the very end hell trav there is cold immune monsters but we normally kill with another char

if i want to kill it with my sorceress i will hit trav with blizzard + static the last CR monster down to 1 health and telk hi or buy a lighting merc

+teliport is great for rushers but as far as the actual damage being put out over the last
153235235235 rushs ive done i just use a random cold sorc with out a second attack

i dont really think anyone on classic actually makes " rushing sorcs " ussually people from expansion make rushing sorcs with dual element but no one on classic really does that i think? idk


im not 100% sure either but if you wanted to let up on anything you could prolly let up on
cold mastery alittle because most stuff you fight normal-nightmare- will capped long before 17 even prolly start of hell not sure on hell tho but i doubt any act 1 monsters - maybe andy can cover a 17 cm, but over all static would be hitting her anyways so still not much of a big deal, in fact the only real time you would prolly use any of that CM is honestly in trav... as they likely do cover a 17CM or close unlike act 1-2 reguardless andy/duriel are getting staticed down right so

the thing here is if you did want to go multiple elements and u are not worried about hell trav as much u can lower cm

but if you are worried about hell trav and thats basically the one and only reason for making this character i would prolly switch to a low damage blizzard instead of a high damage orb

i am actually an orb user but i like orb for pvp i think id rather fight trav with a 900-1100 blizzard compared to a full damage orb

and you know to go a step further idk if memory holds me right but

heres the thing for another step

yeah Cold + fire damage is what u need to kill a CR+LR immune monster

but... i dont want to say they are " rare " but they are easy to miss... what i mean is
you can load into a trav game or a hell chaos game right now and its prolly not going to be CR+LR combo it could be its not super rare by any means but the whole point is there a strong
chance when rushing that a CR+LR immune isnt even in trav

so... that firewall that you have is only there for you as long as you do not want to back
out of 1 in 5 1 in 10 games or something like that

if u were ok rushing and then once in awhile having to go to a new game to get rid of the
CR LR trav monster you could just skip fire all together because the only thing that fire
is for what so ever is to kill the monster in trav when he spawns CR+LR there is no other reason
