I once did something similar, crashed someone else's d2 client and it made them think i was hacking them when i wasnt lol
This was years ago now, but i had written a public cs script for classic (legacy non LoD) and hosted cs runs for a while. I got tired and gave the script to someone else to run. Somewhere along the way i discovered a bug if you tried to open a trade with one of the bots right before they hit the waypoint, they wouldnt hit cancel first and were using packets to interact with wp so they would get dropped from the game. Easy 1 line of code to fix, but i must not have fixed it before i gave buddy the copy.
Later i was playing manually in his hosted public cs runs and somehow conversation devolved into him talking shit. Well then. I said "watch this" and started dropping his bots when they ran to the wp. Old boy got scared, shut up, shut down his runs, probably deleted my script and started scanning for viruses. I may have implied i could see what kind of porn he was watching or something idk. I was a dick
