I am suggesting that we implement a system where if you quote someone in a thread - there should be a direct link to that specific post, as a part of your quote.

For threads that can go hundreds of pages I believe it would be very helpful and time saving.

Imagine you're reading a super long thread and someone has just quoted a post from earlier, but it will take some time to find it. With this you just click the link on the quote.

considering quotes dont carry over timezones its pretty good addition

I usually just look at the time on the quote and go from there, would be useful I suppose though

Same here. I just feel that this is a big time saver, especially if it's a very old thread and/or with a lot of responses.

Instead of searching for the original post, you just click the link to it in the quote.
